Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello there, I'm Mary Ann!

I'm a girl in her 20-somethings with too many interests and a never ending excitement for learning. I find myself falling into new hobbies and collecting new interests like they are Pokemon but i'm not one to fall in blindly, no. I will spend every spare moment researching everything I can to make sure I feel prepared and well informed, especially if I plan on dropping some cash into my new adventure. On my quest for knowledge and information, its blogs just like what I hope this one will turn into, that help me make that crucial decision on how or where I spend my weekend, afternoon or money.

Ive never been able to pin myself down as an introvert or an extrovert, and after years of trying to figure it out, i'm still nowhere near an answer. I love a cozy night in, playing games, watching tv and films, painting my nails, crafting and just enjoying a slower paced life, but I also love going out and exploring nature and even the concrete jungle of the city i'm nearest to. You can find me camping, hiking, shopping, at concerts, cafe hopping, shuffling through a crowd at the markets, and i'm just as happy as if I were at home. More than anything, i've learnt that I just love life when im doing something i'm interested in, and luckily, i'm interested in just about everything!

Just like my 'somewhere in between' status as an introvert or extrovert, there are so many other areas I feel at odds with in my life but i've come to realise that you never need to just choose one side. Outside or inside hobbies? Masculine or feminine interests? Quaint nature or city hustle and bustle?

I guess what i'm trying to say with all of this is that I just like a lot of stuff and i'm done trying to put myself in a box. It only gets in the way of having a good time and feeling good about yourself!

So why this blog?

I hope to be a pit stop, or maybe even your go-to page, on your quest to learn more and make the most of your life outside of work. Here I hope you can find some inspiration for your next day trip or craft project, night out or movie marathon, nail designs or hiking trip, sport to get into or makeup to try out... i'm sure you get where i'm going at this point!
